Riley cleaned my chimney which I had done on a yearly basis with another company. However, he found a crack on the inner lining which he showed me by smartphone photo. I hired Goodfellas to inspect and clean our fireplace. Riley did a great job of explaining the issues our 40 year old fireplace had and our options, he was very polite and well informed on fireplace safety.

We had GoodFellas come out to inspect/clean our chimney after purchase of our home. They were quick to respond to request for an appointment- we had to wait a little while for the actually visit, but we contacted them at the height of winter, so this was understandable. Our tech was knowledgeable and transparent about the work that needed to be done and recommendations for repair. He cleaned our fireplace quickly and for a very fair price. We found out the fireplace isn't actually safe (for now) so we were grateful to be able to get all the information to make an informed decision about repair/replacement when we're ready. The tech wasn't pushy about services or products either. It’s the little things about a business that attracts customers. First off the lady I spoke with on the phone was so kind and nice (which is surprisingly rare these days) she was beyond professional and made me feel right away I went with the right company. When they came out to inspect and service my chimney they were like Chimney team 6! The job wasn’t rushed you could tell they knew what they were doing and didn’t mess around. I have two fireplaces that have not been inspected or cleaned since we moved in to our house in 2014. Riley inspected both and said they were clean; that was great because we have fires only a couple times a year, so that reaffirmed not trying to up-sell. We had a couple other known issues that they took care asap. Bottom line; would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Technician called and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if I wanted him to head over as soon as he was done completing his last job. That was great news because being the day before the holiday I was flying out later that day. To have a company value your time is a rarity these days. The tech did a preliminary inspection and the set to work. Goodfellas gave me a window of 9 am - 10am, and they arrived promptly at 9 am. Riley and Angel were very courteous and professional. They did a thorough inspection starting inside the house and then climbed on the roof to inspect from the top. I was given recommendations which seemed reasonable considering I have used my fireplace for 16 years and have not had it inspected before. While on the roof, they noticed a samll piece of stucco was missing around the chimney. I was grateful to have been informed of this so I can get it repaired. I thought I needed a repair, but after messaging back and forth and sending pictures they had a technician identify the issue and answer my questions. At that point it was obvious everything was working as designed and to spec. So no work was done, but I really appreciated their fast response time and dedication to communicating with me and ultimately solving my problem (or educating me that there was not a problem to be more precise.) Had to wait but they were worth waiting for.

They were great at communicating time frames, checked and gave me advice on what might be causing my issues. The pricing they gave me to convert my fireplace to gas was much less expensive than I had feared, and I signed immediately. They explained next steps and time frames and everything was so quick and easy. I can't wait to get my new easy clean fireplace!

My wife and I moved to a new condo that had a wood burning fireplace with the gas option that had been capped by the previous owner. We wanted to convert it back to gas but we were not sure who to contact. We found Goodfellas Chimney services and they were able to inspect our chimney, clean it, and convert it back to a gas fireplace again. They also assembled a previously purchased gas log kit perfectly. We feel more comfortable having these professionals do the job correctly especially working with gas pipes. Thank you!

I had an obstruction in my dryer vent and hired Goodfellas to come out and Clean it on Saturday. Riley came out and ended up running into some issues where a tool got stuck. I’ll try to not make this a long review and focus on the good points. He went above and beyond. He let me know he had to go back to the drawing board to solve it and will be back Monday to fix it and I appreciated that because it showed his focus is good work not just getting it done. Saturday afternoon I got a call with a game plan, and a time he will show Monday. He spent all day here Monday working on it, fixing it and also identifying issues I didn’t even see as well as taking the initiative to fix them to prevent possible fire damage or dryer issues in the future and cleaning everything spotless. Dryers vents are not his main focus I know, so I can only imagine the A+ job they do on chimneys. It was so nice to have them come out and inspect our chimney. We have renters and they didn't feel like it was safe to use the fireplace. They were right. Goodfellas assessed the damage and will try to repair with a temporary fix until we can completely redo the chimney. It was so nice to be offered an alternative to a full replacement. Fireplace and Chimney Cleaning or Repair for $100-200 a session Goodfellas was responsive and punctual; however, the gentleman up-sold me to a higher price to include cleaning the chimney. I considered the price reasonable. What occurred was that he performed the work I required but never cleaned the chimney. Yet he charged me as if he had. I asked him why he did not clean it and his response was that it did not need cleaning because there was no soot.

Riley of GoodFellas came over and gave me an estimate and I look at the brochure and changed my mind from electric to gas fireplace. I did ordered a gas log at his first visit and he installed it today. He showed us how to operate and it was very simple . The gas log was so nice and he did a really good job .Highly recommend their company to my family and friends.
